Jambo Roses contributes to the surrounding community, by providing sponsorships to local sports teams.

A lot of the neighbourhood football and netball teams struggle with little to no funding for sports kits, equipment and management. This has led to low moral amongst the teams, and talented athletes, because they don’t have an established well funded outdoor activity.

In November 2019 with the help of Fairtrade, Jambo Roses was able to sponsor local teams with brand new team clothes, athletic shoes, balls, and equipment needed for training. This has boosted the confidence of all the players, and improved their well being and health. A lot of Jambo’s employees have joined in these extra curricular activities, which has created a stronger bond amongst the workers.

Sports is not only a great way for maintaining great physical health, and boosting the immune system, it is a great way to build teamwork, and relieve stress.
